pretty sure that was on a CD that my cousin in Toronto made for me a while back. I’d confirm but all my CDs were taken from my vehicle on New Years a few years ago… dang.

Sorry to hear that.

I have it off an album from this year, but researching your claim I see that it was on an album called Billiards at Nine Thirty back in 2005. That album includes both King Khan and the Shrines and The Dirtbombs (out of Detroit) whom I also enjoy. I’ll have to give it that one a listen.

The rest of the 2008 King Khan and the Shrines album are out of sight and it’s one of my best purchases this year. That would be a fine place to start replacing your stolen cds.

These guys are great. Their performance style reminds me a little of Gogol Bordello (though not their music).

I counter with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTN6Du3MCgI . I *love* these guys and they’re pretty local to me. I just saw them at a little venue here in Lansing a month or so back. My only regret is they didn’t play their Radio Ga Ga cover. They *did* play Synthesizer, though. Hm, prolly too much info but I’m a fan girl. This video is HILARIOUS.
