For whatever reason today was Dude Day. By this I mean that several male friends all emailed me to make plans and to give them my take on stuff. Maybe it had something to do with getting up a little earlier to rake the leaves. Fittingly, it ended with some good conversation at my duckpin bowling league.
I really appreciate the care one needs to put into these relationships. Then I saw this post in the The Art of Manliness, “Making and Keeping Man Friendships.”
Tune in to the Jordan Jesse Go podcast for some young dudes hilarity. Their action items are extra special. They recently asked listeners to find an old man and ask him what was in his pockets. Someone responded (Episode 79), and the old man they asked had in his pockets: a billfold, a camera lens, several Ricola, chapstick, pens, and pictures. Thus proving that old dudes carry crazy shit in their pockets.
Who’s your best dude? Of course. Dad.

Excuse me, sir! What's in your pockets?
